Keeping a cool head can be easier said than done when it's hot and humid, which exacerbates irritability, stress, and anxiousness.

Some ways to cool down without further exacerbating anxiousness:

  • Keep caffeine content on the lower side and stop caffeine by mid-afternoon
  • Watch sugar content - especially when consumed on an otherwise empty stomach
  • Pair caffeinated and/or sugary treats with a source of fiber and/or protein - to prevent the spike and crash, and sustain the energy for longer
