By checking the terms and conditions box on your order form, you consent and agree that:

1) You will go over assigned roles and speeches with your child(ren). You will join the email (or other) communication method set up for your club or activity. You will be aware of your children’s scheduled meeting roles, and date/time/location of upcoming meetings. Your child will arrive on time for meetings, and you and your child agree to abide by the scheduled commitments for your child. If you need to change your child’s commitment, you will follow your club’s protocol in this regard. There are no refunds for club registration fees or dues, once paid. For camps, workshops, and short-term classes, a full refund can be made up to 30 days before the first session; a full refund less $100 can be made up to 72 hours before the first session. No refunds will be made within 72 hours of the first session.

2) So Cal Speech and Debate, Ready Set Resources LLC (hereafter Ready Set Resources), their employees, or agents have the right to take photographs, videotape, or digital recordings of you and and your child(ren), during scheduled So Cal Speech and Debate or Ready Set Resources events and activities and to use these in any and all media, now or hereafter known.

3) You further consent that your name and your child(ren)’s names and identities may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or commentary. You do hereby release to So Cal Speech and Debate, Ready Set Resources, and their agents and employees all rights to exhibit this work in print and electronic form publicly or privately and to market and sell copies. You understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for recording you or your child(ren), either for initial or subsequent transmission or playback. You also understand that So Cal Speech and Debate, and Ready Set Resources, are not responsible for any expense or liability incurred as a result of your participation in this organization or recording, including medical expenses due to any sickness or injury incurred as a result. By agreeing to the terms and conditions set forth here, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understand the statements herein, and are competent to make this agreement.

4) You understand that So Cal Speech and Debate and Ready Set Resources programs are conducted by individuals who may not have been effectively screened or supervised by So Cal Speech and Debate, and Ready Set Resources. You release and discharge So Cal Speech and Debate, and Ready Set Resources, their clubs, governing bodies, and representatives from any liability for the intentional or negligent acts or omissions of any Chairperson, member’s parent, member, or officer of this club or other clubs, or any officer of So Cal Speech and Debate, or Ready Set Resources.
